Could You Help Us Inspire?

This picture is a bit fiddly to to put on our letter-heads or even turn into something we could put on clothing!

Can you do better?

What we would like is an image of a tree. It would need roots, a trunk and its canopy. The 'how' is up to you!

Get your creative thinking going. You might sketch, paint, print, digitise... it's up to you!

Once we have a selection we will decide which one we will use!

Visit the school website next week to see how to enter your design.

Getting On With It!

I really didn't want to do the gardening this weekend...

Sometimes,.. just looking around and taking inspiration from the world around you can give you the encouragement you need!

Sometimes, it can feel like God is giving you a nudge!

All a bit of a mystery...

How To Improve Our Community

How do we go about improving our community?

I think it starts between our ears...

Where Can We Get Wisdom From?

There is so much advice out there.

Who should we be listening to?

I think some of these people have the right ideas...

And for those of us a little older:

Achieving the Impossible... Sharing Knowledge

It seems impossible sometimes, doesn't it?

How does photosynthesis work?

How can I remember the 13 times table?

How to climb a rock face?

How to climb through a piece of paper...? Eh?

Rock, Paper, Scissors - We Need Them All!

But what does this have to do with our playground and what would Jesus think of the game?

Winning With Honour

Success without honour is
an unseasoned dish;
it will satisfy your hunger,
but it won't taste good.

Peace Amidst a Storm

The Storm on the Sea of Galilee is a painting from 1633 by the painter Rembrandt van Rijn. The painting shows the miracle of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee, as written in the fourth chapter of the Gospel of Mark in the New Testament.

There are so many things to see in this painting and much we can learn from in it too.

What can you see?

Remember, keep calm in a storm.

"The course of conflict isn't determined by the person who
initiates but by the person who responds." (Mozart In The Jungle)

Could you dedicate a space in your classroom to celebrate the peacemakers of the world? Is there a pattern in the behaviour of those who respond?

Blessed Are the Peacemakers...

Jesus said: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God." (Matthew 5:9)

What did he mean by that?

How can we learn from Abraham?

Why did a quarrel break out?

How did Abraham suggest they settle the quarrel?

How was Abraham generous to Lot?

What 'qualities' did Abraham show through his behaviour to Lot?

What can we learn from this story?

Positive New Beginnings in 2015

Happy Epiphany!

What will you say that you WILL do rather than what you won't do?
